A couple quick previews of what’s been happening lately including a mentor session with Erik Clausen of Poser Image and an Anniversary session for Tyler and Katie Branch of BranchPhoto. It’s been a blessing to be able to work with some of my favorite photographers and I can’t tell you how much I’ve been inspired by them. The session with Erik was a one on one all day event around SF where I got the chance to hear his inspiring story and pick his brain about ANYTHING I wanted to know about him, his shooting and lighting style, and just about anything else you can think of. Above all, the most important thing Erik did was truly inspire me to create my own vision and commit to what I wanted to do as a photographer and artist. It was a huge eye opening experience. In return I made him walk up several steep hills to get to where I parked my car. He’s also a good sport ha. Tyler and Katie Branch are an AWESOME couple and photographers based out of Seal Beach, CA. When Tyler asked me to take their anniversary shots, I was beyond stoked and very honored. I can’t even express how much it meant to me to do this for them. Also, the fact that they endured the pouring rain and hail to do the shoot was beyond awesome.
